Burns Supper 2008 for Honorary Life Members & Former Office Bearers

 

The Burns Supper will provide you with an excellent opportunity to catch up and reminisce with old friends and colleagues. We would therefore be delighted if you and your guest were able to join us on Saturday 26th January 2008.

 

The evening will commence with drinks in the Priory Bar from 6:00pm where there will be a display of current and past activities from the Students’ Association. The Executive will be hosting tours of the Association building which will include visiting ‘The Scene’ on Level 4 and ‘ The Lounge’ on Level 5 - two new developments for the 2007\8 academic year. Dinner along with the usual Burns festivities will be served at 7:30pm. The dress code for this event is smart/formal.

 

This year’s Top Table includes: Professor Andrew Hamnett - Principal and Vice Chancellor, Alasdair Buchan – columnist for the Strathclyde Telegraph and Debates Convenor 1965-68, Doug Henderson MP – President 1970/71, David Malcolm – Vice President Welfare 2000/01 and Claire Hill – Deputy President 2005/06.
