Every year more than 500 Course Reps get elected to help make your Strathclyde Experience even better. Together, they can make a huge impact on the way your course, faculty, or University is run!
> Consulting with your class mates on their experience of the course
> Attending a Staff-Student Liaison Committee once per semester
> Feeding back information and outcomes to your class mates
> Working in partnership with University staff and the Students’ Association
By becoming a Course Rep, you’ll be joining over 500 other Reps, just like you, working together to make the student experience at Strathclyde the best it can be.
It's a great opportunity to:
> Affect decisions made about your education and improve your learning experience
> Develop effective relationships with your teaching staff
> Devlop your skills, CV and experience whilst helping others
Within the first couple of weeks of teaching, your lecturers will ask if anyone is interested in becoming the representative for the class. If there is more than one student in the class interested, then they will hold a short election. If not, then all you need to do is fill in the form and your lecturer will do the rest.
The Students’ Association will contact you with details of the training programme offered to all new Course Reps. Go to our Course Rep Training pagefor more details.
