Well the Union’s Training Team can solve all your woes with two brand new training programmes!

 

Study Skills

 

This is a two hour session that will help with all your academic issues. There will be four parts to the session covering Know Your Self (learning styles), Know Your Info (effective note-taking), Know Your Limits (avoiding plagiarism), and Know Your Answers (writing essays and preparing for exams)

 

 

Employment Skills

 

This is a set of training sessions that will give you the necessary skills to succeed in the increasingly competitive job market. Each session will last an hour and cover Time and Stress Management, Working in a Team, Assertiveness/Leadership and Presentation Skills.
