Social Team
In the last year, a team of Postgrads have been working together to put on more social events aimed solely at Postgrad students. This is a small group that is always looking for fun loving people willing to have a laugh and plan. If you wish to join them, send me an email at postgraduateofficer@theunion.strath.ac.uk, and I will send you details of the next meeting. Time commitments are very minimal: a meeting about once a month and time to help set-up the events.

Postgrad lunches happen in the PG Common Room at the Union, level 6, running from 12-2ish. The Union provides light snacks; but you are more than welcome to bring your own lunch along. It is a low-key affair, but a nice relaxed way to meet other Postgrads, particularly if you cannot get to other evening events because of family commitments etc.
